December has begun which means it is officially time to get into the Christmas spirit! Chocolates, mince pies, and roast dinners galore – it’s the most wonderful time of the year for great eating, and Hog Roast Holmes Chapel are here to get you started with festive catering right to your desk at the office.
That period from the beginning of December through the few weeks to when you can finally break for the holidays can seem to stretch on, but with Hog Roast Holmes Chapel’s festive corporate catering that wait can be eased somewhat. You need only ask someone like our local client Gina and her employee recruitment firm to see how Hog Roast Holmes Chapel’s office catering can bring that much needed festive cheer to your workplace earlier. A self-proclaimed “Christmas nut”, Gina contacted the Hog Roast Holmes Chapel team the week before December and requested that we help her to turn her office into a temporary Christmas grotto fit for the very best Christmas feast in the country. Not a problem for Hog Roast Holmes Chapel, we set our little cooking elves with all their culinary and catering magic to work immediately!
Last Friday with December finally here our team arrived early in the day to Gina’s office and got to work cooking up a festive feast in time for the afternoon’s celebrations. While Gina’s team still had their annual staff night out still to come later in December, she wanted to get her staff into the festive mood earlier by enjoying a “mini” staff party at the office with dining provided by us.
For the team of 16 we opted to both the traditional Christmas turkey – though done in our usual spit roast style as enjoyed by all our other meat roasts – and our namesake hog roast. Both came with all the trimmings: homemade stuffing, golden crackling and apple sauce for the pork, cranberry sauce for the turkey. No Christmas plate is complete until it is stacked full however, so of course we also had our perfect roast potatoes and medley of roasted veg, homemade pigs in blankets and homemade cauliflower cheese all to be drowned in as much of our delicious rich gravy as desired.
The recruitment team sat down to their new festive grotto in the afternoon and enjoyed our catered dining for the rest of the day while enjoying Christmas music and plenty of festive party games too! A perfect way to kick December off!
