This weekend we were busy catering at the wedding of Sue and Roger who were having their ceremony and reception in the stunning Rhosneigr countryside. Catering manager Paul had been tasked with creating a wedding menu for one hundred and twenty people with both a daytime and evening serve time. We love catering for weddings and it’s always such a pleasure when we are invited to stay for the duration of the event as it means we really get to see our clients and their guests enjoying themselves and our slow roasted food.
The daytime menu for today was our wedding menu 5. This menu starts with your selection of handmade canapés followed by our Hog Roast Ruthin served buffet style. Sue and Roger had chosen pork, beef and some spit roasted chickens for the meats which would be served alongside Yorkshire puddings, stuffing, roasted potatoes and lots of delicious seasonal vegetables. When the guests arrived we began to serve the canapés as the bride and groom made the most of the photo opportunities offered by the beautiful surroundings. Before we knew it we had served up the main meal and the dancing had begun- time flies when you are catering!
Next up was the Hog Roast Ruthin evening buffet. For this buffet we provided more of our slow roasted hog as well as vegetarian skewers and lots of accompaniments. It was then time to discretely tidy away leaving all of the guests to enjoy themselves and our food…
