Catering Manager Paul and the Hog Roast Crewe team travelled to the outskirts of the Peak District this week where we were cooking for 120 guests for the wedding of Natalie and her partner. Meerbrook Village Hall is a quaint venue set in the countryside and perfect for a late summer wedding. The hall was spacious enough for us to get set up indoors, Hog Roast Crewe arrived in the morning as the serve time was quite early at 3:30pm.
Natalie had opted for our Southern Slow Roast menu which is by far our most popular option due to the amount of choice available, there will always be something to suit everyone! On this occasion Paul and his team cooked up Texan 24 hour beef brisket, cajun spiced whole roast chickens and fall off the bone Louisiana sticky pork ribs, proving that we don’t always have to cook a hog roast! For side dishes Natalie chose Greek salad, corn cobettes, cajun spiced wedges and Memphis style crunchy coleslaw. We also provide a selection of delicious sauces for your meats. For the vegetarian guests we grilled some vegetable and halloumi skewers (which non veggies always love too!).
We love catering for a wedding as the atmosphere always makes for a great day. The beauty of serving your wedding feast buffet style is that your guests can choose exactly what they want to eat and can easily get seconds (or thirds!) if needed. By booking Hog Roast Crewe for your wedding you can be sure that your guests will have full bellies and be ready to dance the night away on your big day! Natalie and her partner said they would definitely be hiring us again for their future celebrations which we love to hear. We hope the happy couple and all of their guests had a fantastic day!
