Heading north to cater for a 21st birthday party was how we spent our weekend with Hog Roast Wrinehill.
We were asked to set up at the local Cricket ground and the weather could not have been better, despite the time of year. Upon arrival we were greeted by the guys father who showed us where to set up and the views were wonderful! We had more than enough room which is always a bonus at our events.
Soon we had the Hog Roast Wrinehill cooking away nicely and with the meat cooking it was time to set up. We supplied our own tables which were erected quickly and covered them in white cloths and started to set up our serving station which we use when we carve and serve the meat. We arranged the plates and the cutlery on the crisp white cloths and then started to prepare the accompaniments sweet potato wedges, fresh coleslaw, tomato salad and a potato salad. The buns too were cut and placed on the server ready to meet the Hog Roast Wrinehill!
Once the meat was cooked we sharpened our knives by this time the guests had arrived and stood watching in awe at the meat and then we began to carve the meat and transfer into our huge silver hot plate to rest as we carved up the rest. The meat just fell apart and so moist and succulent the air was filled with the aroma and lots of mouths were watering as we began to serve the hungry guests. The young guy who’s birthday it was, was the first to be served and couldn’t speak as he was blown away and he endured the first few bites! Then we were busy serving and time just flies by at these events and a happy party is clean plates, which we had! As we said our goodbyes we were thanked again and again by the more than happy host and asked to leave some flyers, which we already had, always ahead of are game! As we drove home tired and weary we felt such satisfaction as another job well done. We have been truly blessed having the sunshine a perfect day was had at Hog Roast Wrinehill.
