Here at Hog Roast Lipley, we cater for any dietary requirements such as vegetarian, vegan and gluten free.
Some think we only cater using meat but this is not the case. Last weekend we catered for a bunch of students many of whom were vegetarian some vegan and a few gluten free but this wasn’t a problem for us we chatted to the host and designed the perfect Hog Roast Lipley menu.
We arrived early morning to the campus and were shown to the room to cater from. We got to work straight away. We started by making vegetable skewers in an assortment of colours and flavours using tomatoes, courgette, mushroom, olives and red and green peppers. We then set about making a crunchy salad that all could enjoy using lots of leaves and salad vegetables, creamy coleslaw was made using carrot red cabbage and is a firm favourite by most! For the gluten free guests we made lovely rice and lentil salad with lots of fresh peppers and onions a wonderful poached dressed salmon. We made some baby new potatoes and earlier that morning we made some gluten free wraps and rolls and our famous quiche which again is gluten free. We are very thorough in what we do and any requirement guests need we always fulfil. When the guests arrived they were impressed! And commented on how amazing everything looked and they were even more amazed when they tasted the food! Guests were coming up to us saying they found it so hard for caters to cater for them and if they did manage to find any the food was bland and boring but they said ours was unbelievable. The vegetable skewers were full of flavour and the quiche went down really well.
Some of the guests asked if we could give them some cards as they wished to place an order with us for events they have coming up through the year we said we would be more than happy to come. Everyone had such a lovely day and we enjoyed it too we love catering and especially when we are catering for a variety of people and we always thrive to come up with new ideas and flavours for all our guests. its what we do best here at Hog Roast Lipley.
