Are you and your loved ones in desperate need of some fun? Do you want to host a celebration that you’ll never forget? Have you got a garden with enough space for a gazebo? Last question: would you consider yourself to be a food lover? If you’re nodding more than Churchill (the bulldog, of course) then why not pick up the phone and get in touch with Hog Roast Garston? You won’t regret it, and that’s a promise!
We pride ourselves on delivering exceptional customer service and even better food. So, if you love both of those things, then you’re in the right place! Our team has the experience and the resources to bring any event you have in mind to fruition, and just last weekend we were called in to cater for a private garden party which had been booked by Anita.
As a self-confessed party animal, Anita had a vision for exactly how she wanted her event to look, which on this occasion was based on the hottest bohemian trends. Our catering manager Paul, who has years of experience backing him, was there to help her through every step of the way, and with his advice, the client was able to decide on the southern slow roast menu in hardly any time at all.
When the Hog Roast Garston team arrived at Anita’s home on the day of the party, they zig-zagged through the hay bale seating arrangement and circle of tipi’s to the back of the garden where they pitched the catering gazebo and got started on preparing the meats.
After a few hours of slow roasting, the scents from the BBQ pork butt, Texan 24 hour beef brisket and the creole pulled quarter of spiced lamb filled the air. With the meats almost ready to serve, the Hog Roast Garston crew began plating up the side dishes of Memphis style crunchy coleslaw, creamy mac and cheese and mixed fries along with the vegetarian option of grilled vegetable and halloumi skewers.
The garden soon filled up as the last of the 50 guests made their appearance, and with the bonfire belting plumes of white smoke into the air Anita and her guests munched on the hog roast dishes while perched on the hay bales.
