Hog Roast Brighton’s latest event was a very special 40th wedding anniversary. Long in love wedded couple Liam and Kate were having a small party to celebrate their marriage milestone, so they immediately contacted the Hog Roast Brighton team as they wanted a special mid-afternoon meal.
Clients Kate and Liam worked closely with the Hog Roast Brighton team to concoct a menu for the party of 10 guests. They wanted a menu of dishes that was packed full of flavour, so the dishes they selected were taken from the Southern Slow Roast menu. This is a menu that is fit to bursting with tasty treats and was customised to suit Kate and Liam’s budget and needs.
The catering package that the clients opted for was based around Gourmet Delivery. All the food for the 3pm buffet was cooked fresh at the Hog Roast Brighton kitchen by experienced Catering Manager Paul and was then delivered to Clients Kate and Liam’s house. The delicious dishes were packed into transport trays, from which the food could immediately be served to the guests. Then all the rubbish was collected back by Chef Paul at the end of the event, so that it might be disposed of responsibly.
When the buffet was delivered to the clients they were thrilled, Chef Paul had really made their dreams come true! The meats were steaming hot and packed full of Southern flavour. There was a choice of two meats for the guests to tuck into, there was Cajun spiced whole roast chicken, or alternatively there was BBQ Pork Butt. Alongside these meaty treats there was three optional accompaniments, they were: Jack Daniels Smokey Sweet BBQ Glaze, Cajun Hot Pepper Sauce (which was not for the faint hearted) and finally, Stubbs Legendary Hickory Bourbon BBQ Sauce. That wasn’t all however! The buffet had lots of other tasty dishes, such as All-American style Mac and cheese, Memphis style crunchy coleslaw and much more.
The clients were thrilled, as were their guests. The buffet went down a treat. It was a job well done.
