This November, Hog Roast Winsford was hired by Carl to provide catering for his 50th birthday party. Our catering manager Alan was asked to serve a tasty buffet meal with a variety of dishes to choose from, with enough food for 30 guests. After discussing our menu options, we decided that our Southern Slow Roast Menu was an ideal choice for the occasion. The party was fancy-dress themed, which created such a fun atmosphere for the evening!
On the day of the event, the Hog Roast Winsford team arrived early at The Last Post Pub to prepare the catering for the 19:00 mealtime. We began by slow-roasting the main dishes, including a pork butt, Cajun spiced whole-roasted chickens, and sticky pork ribs. The main dishes were cooked to perfection and served with a selection of secret recipe sauces and marinades! As well as the main dishes, we also provided Greek salad, corn cobbettes, mac and cheese, and roasted baby new potatoes.
This menu was served on wooden bamboo crockery and cutlery, which was ideal for the occasion. There were plenty of dishes to go around and something for every guest to enjoy! Not only was there plenty of food for the evening, but there was also a selection of leftovers for Carl and his guests to enjoy the next day. This was a great event to be a part of and our team loved providing such tasty catering for this special occasion.
