No matter what circumstances have brought you and your guests together, you can always rely on Hog Roast Warrington to deliver an exceptional group dining experience, consisting of great-tasting food and warm and personable customer service from our band of amazing caterers.
And, on that note, we recently visited Appleton Thorn Village Hall (which is a nearby venue run on behalf of the local community by a non-profit organisation), after being asked by Ashley if we could help her celebrate the life of her late father.
Despite the upsetting reason behind the event, Ashley wanted to honour her dad with a light-hearted experience, designed to uplift friends and family at a place that is popular within the district, and having been recommended to use Hog Roast Warrington’s services by the venue stewards, she knew right away that we would be perfect for what she had in mind. So, our catering manager, Alan, rolled up his sleeves and prepared to serve our taste-bud-tingling signature Hog Roast Menu to Ashley and her party of 80 guests.
The event was scheduled to kick off in the early evening, with the food to be served at around 7 pm, so the Hog Roast Warrington catering team had made sure to arrive on-site early in the afternoon to get everything prepared for the group. Utilising the spacious outdoor courtyard, Alan and the crew effortlessly rustled up a mouth-watering buffet, which included a gorgeous hog roast with crackling, savoury sage and onion stuffing and homemade applesauce, juicy butcher’s sausages, a mix of sweet potato and regular fries, gourmet coleslaw, colourful salads and a basket of gluten-free rolls and wraps for the guests to dig into. Not one to leave the veggies and vegans hungry, the team also prepared a batch of our delicious grilled vegetable kebabs with flatbreads and tzatziki dip.
Ashley’s event definitely did the trick of cheering up her friends and family, and as they enjoyed tucking into the incredible food that our Hog Roast Warrington catering crew served that evening, they shared all of the wonderful memories that they each had of Ashley’s father.
