You might remember that the Hog Roast Nantwich team reported spotting a new and mysterious visitor early last month. A small mischievous looking elf that seemed to have somehow got into our supply cupboard and stolen himself his very own Hog Roast Nantwich chef jacket and hat before squirrelling away to be rarely seen again.
Well it turns out that our visitor in waiting was just biding his time to start making his proper smash entrance around the Hog Roast Nantwich offices on the very first day of December – aka Advent. Announcing himself as Mr Piggles, it seems our new elf friend is not so much a friend after all, having now spent each day somehow causing just a minor bit of chaos and mischief around the Hog Roast Nantwich office. To date we’ve found him trying to add his own spicing to one of our chef’s mixtures, making “snow” around the office – or, more accurately, throwing flour all around the kitchen – and now he’s recently taken to annoying our Hog Roast Nantwich mascot, Mr Pig, by stealing away his friends for use as his own elven sleigh.
Mr Piggles assures us all that he is here to help out around the kitchen, and from a certain angle you could maybe make the case that yes, he perhaps is trying to with the very best intentions. But those best intentions are still leading to a lot of festive chaos in a time when the Hog Roast Nantwich team have to be as organised as possible. We have all of your festive events coming up that we need to stay on top of and ready for, and our hard work at organising is being somewhat disrupted by the supposed “help” from our newest chef.
We’ll do our very best to ensure that Mr Piggles is not able to affect any of your events with us, but for now it seems he’ll be with us to stay right the way through December. To make sure he’s not managed to cause havoc with your upcoming event, you might want to keep an eye on our social media where we will be doing our best to document each day of havoc that Mr Piggles causes.
