This Saturday Hog Roast Holmes Chapel were travelling to an event being hosted by the Bramwell family. They had all gathered to celebrate Anna and Mikes 50th wedding anniversary and wanted to make sure they did it in style. Anna and Mike’s eldest daughter, June, had decided to host a small get together at her home to bring all the family together in celebration. She had enlisted the help of Hog Roast Holmes Chapel to provide a heart-warming meal of our speciality hog roast rolls for their thirty guests- of course we were more than happy to help!
We arrived at the family home mid-morning to give us plenty of time to prepare for the 3 pm serve time. As with any Hog Roast Holmes Chapel event the first job involves getting the meat prepared. When roasting a hog whole this means gently scoring the meat and applying salt to the skin to allow it to crisp up deliciously. Then it’s simply a case of letting our Hog Roast Holmes Chapel machine do its magic…
