For her daughter, Claire’s, 20th birthday party, Louise was in need of a catering company to meet their needs. With Claire being a vegetarian, it initially seemed a strange choice to hire Hog Roast Comberbach to cater the party, but Louise was soon put at ease by the friendliness of our team and the many catering styles we offer.
Louise wanted the meal to be buffet style, as they were throwing a garden party and didn’t have space for a formal, sit down meal. Our team were happy to offer this and begin to talk through the different menu options that were available. After looking at reviews and photos, Louise couldn’t say no to having a hog roast- but she made sure there were plenty of vegetarian options on offer too. Alongside spit-roasted pork served in rolls, there were vegetable skewers, pittas, side salads and more, which gave both Claire and Louise something to enjoy!
On the day of the party, Hog Roast Comberbach arrived with plenty of time to spit-roast the meat. While it cooked, attention was turned to creating the side dishes, which were all prepared on-site using only the freshest ingredients. Once the guests had arrived, our team of chefs and waiting staff began to serve the food, carving the succulent meat and displaying the side dishes that had been carefully prepared during the day.
Before it was time to clear away, the chef wrapped up the leftovers and handed them to Louise, which she was going to enjoy for her lunch the next day! Our team at Hog Roast Comberbach then began to quietly and discretely clear away, leaving the party to continue with the birthday celebrations long into the night.
