A Weekend of Celebrations with Hog Roast Frodsham

Hog Roast FrodshamSome weekends are busy and then there are weekends like this one, where the joy of celebrating with our clients makes every moment worth it. On Sunday, we had the pleasure of catering for Sylvia, who booked our Southern Slow Roast menu to celebrate her husband Phil’s 70th birthday. With 100 guests gathered at the stunning Manley Wood in Frodsham, it was the perfect occasion for our flavour packed Hog Roast Frodsham feast.

The team prepared three mouth-watering main dishes: BBQ pork butt, Cajun spiced whole roast chickens, and our tender pulled quarter of minted lamb. Each was slow-roasted to perfection, ensuring every bite was succulent, juicy, and bursting with flavour.

Guests could enjoy their choice of soft bread rolls and wraps, including wholemeal and gluten-free options on request. Our trio of sauces – smokey sweet BBQ glaze, fiery Cajun hot pepper sauce, and our legendary hickory bourbon BBQ sauce added that extra kick for those who like their food bold and exciting.

Hog Roast FrodshamWe made sure vegetarian and vegan guests were just as well catered for, offering grilled vegetable and halloumi skewers (halloumi-free for vegans) served with wraps, tzatziki, and sweet chilli sauce. Another favourite was our vegan pulled jackfruit, served in a bun with smoky hickory BBQ sauce and crunchy slaw.

The sides completed the feast beautifully, seasonal vegetables, homemade gourmet coleslaw, and roasted baby new potatoes, all served on eco-friendly bamboo crockery with wooden cutlery and quality napkins.

Phil’s 70th was a day full of warmth, laughter, and fantastic food. The sunshine streamed through the trees, friends and family shared stories, and our Hog Roast Frodsham menu proved the perfect centrepiece for the celebration. It was a real honour to be part of such a special milestone in Phil’s life, and we wish him many more years of health and happiness.
