There’s something extra special about a first birthday, the milestone, the memories and the people who come together to celebrate it. That’s exactly what made our recent event at Station Farm so memorable and we were honoured to bring the feast for the occasion with our Gourmet BBQ menu.
With just 30 guests, this was an intimate garden-style party packed with personality. Friends and family gathered to mark one whole year of joy and the atmosphere was full of laughter, smiles and plenty of good food. At Hog Roast Aston juxta Mondrum, we believe every event deserves standout catering, no matter the size and this one was no exception.
Our Gourmet BBQ setup was fired up and ready, serving juicy handmade British beef burgers, sizzling gourmet sausages, Thai chicken kebabs and sticky, flavour packed BBQ spareribs. All were served with a hearty helping of fried onions and cheese, with soft bread rolls and wraps, including gluten-free options.
We didn’t forget the plant-based guests either. Our tasty halloumi skewers and pulled BBQ jackfruit (with a choice of sauces) were just as much of a hit. Not to mention the BBQ pulled jackfruit, slow simmered in a rich hickory sauce and topped with crunchy slaw, a flavour bomb in every bite.
Fresh Greek salad and chef’s own pasta salad balanced the plate, while a mix of sweet potato fries and chips brought smiles to both kids and grownups alike. All served with our eco friendly bamboo crockery and cutlery, adding to the thoughtful touches of the day.
A huge thank you to the lovely family who chose Hog Roast Aston juxta Mondrum to be part of their celebration. It was a joy to see so many happy faces, and full plates, as we helped make this first birthday a truly delicious memory.
