Classic Car Shows Are So Much Better When Hog Roast Great Sankey Is Involved!

With summer coming to an end in the near future, Brits are making the most of whatever sunshine we have left by hosting garden parties and taking part in outdoor festivals before the skies turn gloomy and grey again. The good news is there’s always plenty of entertainment to look forward to and enjoy in and around Cheshire!

Last weekend, for instance, locals were treated to a classic car show, which saw vintage motors from all over the world come together for a family-friendly afternoon in the heart of our community. This spectacular event had been organised by community event planners, Mick and Laurence, who had done everything possible to promote the festival and get the word out to classic car owners in the surrounding areas.

Their efforts most certainly paid off, and on the day of the event, the town centre swarmed with families, couples and motor enthusiasts, all of whom had come along with the hopes of getting a peek at some authentic vintage cars and maybe even posing for pictures with a few of them.

As well as the freshly-waxed automobiles, some of which dated back to the 1920s, the event included a raffle with some excellent prizes to be won, a motorbike show which saw drivers perform some impressive stunts and stalls selling motor-inspired goods. Hog Roast Great Sankey was also on hand to keep everyone’s bellies full with our Classic Hog Roast Menu.

Hog Roast Great SankeyThis traditional Hog Roast Great Sankey spread is always a sure-fire way to keep guests satisfied at any event, and sure enough, the people who attended this classic car show were thrilled with the food we had on offer. Our sumptuous slow-roasted pork rolls with crispy crackling, sage and onion stuffing and applesauce were served with a choice of mixed fries and fresh salad to the hungry carnivores, meanwhile, the veggie/vegan guests chowed down on our delightful sweet chilli grilled vegetable kebabs with flatbreads and tzatziki dip.

Everyone who tasted our food was in heaven, and the food was so popular that Mick and Laurence have promised to keep Hog Roast Great Sankey in mind for any community events in future.
