Ever since appearing on the itv show Good Morning inflatable pubs have become an absolute essential for garden party events. It was especially poignant at Hog Roast Weaverham’s latest event, as it was an 18th birthday party.
The private party which had its very own adorable inflatable pub in the garden had a truly tempting buffet that was put together by Hog Roast Weaverham’s friendly, experienced Catering Manager. The buffet was for 50 very lucky guests to enjoy!
The client chose dishes from the tasty Southern Slow Roast Menu for their special buffet. There was a whole host of flavourful treats on offer for the guests to enjoy when the buffet was served at 2pm.
All of the buffet dishes had been made fresh on the day of the event. Catering Manager Paul from the Weaverham team arrived at the private home several hours prior to the buffet serving time. He set up the cooking equipment and the serving table and then got straight to work preparing all of the dishes. Also part of the catering package that the clients had chosen was the use of Hog Roast Weaverham’s high quality re-usable wooden bamboo crockery and cutlery. The guests used the rustic looking plates and cutlery to serve themselves at the buffet. They were then gathered and taken from site, along with all the catering rubbish (which the team would later dispose of), at the end of the buffet serving time.
The buffet was a feast for the eyes as well as a treat for the tummy. There was a mountain of soft gluten free rolls for all to enjoy. There was also tasty grilled vegetable and halloumi skewers as well as a vegan alternative of plain grilled vegetable skewers, with an assortment of tangy and some spicy dips on offer for the guests to try. Also on offer was lots of fresh salad, spicy skin on potato wedges, Cajun spiced chicken and BBQ pulled pork.
With weather holding fair and the buffet being wolfed down by very hungry guests it’s fair to say that the event was a massive success. The birthday party went off without a hitch.
