A magical venue, a magical occasion, a magical menu to underscore it all; this was the case last week as the Hog Roast Northwich team joined up with the brilliant venue organizers at Cheshire Woodland Weddings to cater for a magnificent wedding reception held in the elegant, magical, and beautiful Cheshire woodlands near Northwich.
Sometimes with an event everything just sings beautifully in tandem. The bride and groom had picked the most perfect spot to hold their special day. An incredible backdrop for photos during the ceremony and reception, a nice and shaded spot to keep guests well covered amidst the summer heat, and a spot that just exudes magic on one of the most magical occasions you can enjoy in life. Couple Hog Roast Northwich’s unique and stylish wedding catering with that, and you have a day that won’t ever be forgotten for its beauty and magic.
Working with our bride and groom, we had devised a bespoke dining experience that would include a barbecue, desserts, and a later evening al fresco dining experience to added to that rustic woodland feel.
Our evening began with our gourmet barbecue range. This is like your standard barbecue menu that you may see at any park, beach, or garden, only made with a few of our own typical Hog Roast Northwich twists. You’ve got burgers and sausages handmade gourmet style from some of the best meats in the local market, along with more unique options like our Thai chicken kebabs and our BBQ marinated meaty spare ribs. Vegetarian and vegan guests could instead enjoy grilled veg and halloumi skewers and veggie sausages. Thanks to our own-designed roaster and barbecue combo machine, we can cook many of these foods all at once, so the fresh serves can just keep coming throughout the evening.
Following the main event, desserts of strawberries with passionfruit cream or chocolate torte were available in a buffet service. Our evening then ended with a late buffet option of antipasti grazing tables – perfect amidst that woodland magic.
