Hog Roast Newton Le Willows – Christmas Function

We receive a lot of requests for corporate bookings, especially around the Christmas period. A company contacted Hog Roast Newton Le Willows and requested us to cater for their extra special Christmas function. This company had had a very successful year and wanted to say thank you to their three hundred and fifty plus employees. We discussed and agreed on exactly how this company wanted to celebrate with their employees. We agreed that we would greet everyone with canapés and serve a selection of roast options with several tempting sides followed by an array of mouthwatering desserts – assuming anyone had any room left!

Hog Roast Newton Le WillowsIn the early afternoon we made our way along the winding country roads and cattle grids to be met on location with a wide-open view of stunning countryside which was the backdrop to this quaint, but busy business. A large tent had been erected on the grounds and the Hog Roast Newton Le Willows team began our preparations to ensure everything would be up and running for the arrival of the guests. As the evening rolled in on Hog Roast Newton Le Willows the fairy lights and Christmas music greeted all the employees who arrived dressed in their finest evening wear.

Our waiting staff served canapés including tiger prawns, pate encroute and grilled fillet of beef. Several eager guests made their way over to the roasting tent to see what tempting treats were waiting for them and were not disappointed. Scrumptious slow-roasted pig served with apple sauce, stuffing and crispy crackling, the perfectly selected option. Sides of seasonal vegetables, warm new potatoes in herb butter and roasted new potatoes with sea salt and rosemary were ideal accompaniments for this delicious fare. The desserts of cheesecake and chocolate torte were served to the guest’s tables.

After ample food was consumed, the DJ worked on the decks and the dance floor got busy. We used this time to quietly clear away and left the celebrations to the very merry party. We were informed the following week that the company was so impressed with us and had numerous appreciative emails from their employees that they would like to make us part of their annual Christmas event. We were very pleased that we could help make their Christmas so special.
