With wedding catering the season never really ends. Even as the summer season eases out and the wedding events themselves slow down, the Hog Roast Chester team then turns to prep for the next season. That may mean engagement parties from proposals that happened during the summer (a very popular time with couples typically popping the question on holiday and then celebrating in the autumn when they return) or it may mean wedding fairs like the one we will be attending in just over a week’s time, The Cheshire Wedding Fayre at Chester Racecourse.
Head chef Ste and the Hog Roast Chester team are looking forward to heading out to the famed racecourse for this one. Wedding fairs are always a massively fun time not only for guests, but for our own wedding catering team too. It makes for a different pace from our usual event services. We’re not expected to be in full event serving mode with foods coming out the door the whole day. Instead, our day is a little more relaxed, a little more like being a guest, as we too get to soak in the atmosphere and enjoy some of the festivities of the day while also chatting to guests and sharing free samples of our hog roast.
