We were honoured to cater a truly special occasion, the 20-year work anniversary of Chapel House Care Ltd. Held at Plessington Court in Puddington, this milestone event brought together 200 guests for an afternoon of celebration, gratitude, and fantastic food. Our Hog Roast Puddington service was the perfect fit for such a meaningful day.
Led by our catering manager Ste, our team arrived in plenty of time to set up for a 4pm service. With a guest list this size, it was important to deliver not only delicious food but also a smooth, well-organised service that allowed everyone to enjoy themselves. The buffet-style setup worked perfectly, encouraging guests to mingle and share in the celebration while choosing their favourite dishes.
For the menu, Chapel House Care Ltd chose our Southern Slow Roast menu, a real crowd-pleaser. Guests enjoyed tender Cajun chicken, slow-cooked beef brisket, and juicy ribs, all packed with rich, smoky flavours. To add even more variety, we served freshly cooked sausages, golden fries, and a selection of bread rolls and wraps. Every plate was a hearty feast, designed to satisfy all tastes.
We also ensured vegetarian and vegan guests were well catered for with our grilled vegetable and halloumi skewers (with a vegan alternative available). With the addition of fresh sides and salads, the spread had something for everyone, and the eco-friendly bamboo crockery and cutlery added a thoughtful finishing touch.
The highlight of the day wasn’t just the food, but the sense of pride and togetherness among the Chapel House Care Ltd team. Reaching 20 years is an incredible achievement, and it was wonderful to see colleagues, friends, and families celebrating with such warmth and joy. Our role was to make sure the catering matched the importance of the occasion and from the smiling faces and empty plates, we think we did just that.
