During April, Hog Roast Winsford catered for a corporate event at Quick Steel Ltd. in Fairoaks. The event was hosted as a retirement party for the current owner, as well as a hand-over party as his children prepare to take over the business. The company has been successfully trading for 20 years, so this event was intended as a way to look back at the successes under the current owner and look forward to the future. For the catering, our manager Alan was hired to provide our Gourmet BBQ menu to 50 guests. This menu was sure to go down a treat and would be ideal for an event such as this one.
On the day of the event, the Hog Roast Winsford team arrived at the venue with plenty of time to prepare for the 19:00 mealtime. We began by preparing the main dishes, which included juicy British beef burgers, succulent pork sausages, Thai chicken kebabs, BBQ spareribs, grilled vegetable and halloumi skewers, and BBQ pulled jackfruit. These dishes were served in fresh bread rolls, with gluten-free rolls also on offer. For the selection of sides, we provided Greek salad, coleslaw, homemade chips, and sweet potato fries, creating a varied and tasty evening meal. Our buffet menu was a great addition to the event and definitely went down a treat with all 50 guests. It was great to be part of such a memorable event and we wish this company all the best for the future!
