Hog Roast Ellesmere Port were thrilled to recently cater at a joint 40th birthday party and house warming at Ecclestone near Chester for around 80 guests with a wide variety of tastes and ages. For all events, Hog Roast Ellesmere Port always liaises closely with the client (in this case Clair) to ensure that all expectations are met (and regularly surpassed!) and that the most appropriate menu is selected.
For this type of event, we have a wide selection of menus and we discussed with the client, which would be most suitable as there would need to be suitable for children and non-meat eaters too. Our menu selection ranges from informal, Hog in a Roll food to more formal sit-down catering. Clair indicated that the event would be informal, but would like a wide variation of food. Our head chef Alex carefully discussed the requirements and they mutually decided that our Southern Slow Roast Menu which includes BBQ Pork Butt, Texan 24 hr Beef and Cajun Whole Roast Chicken would be ideal. Clair asked if we could also serve
Tomato & Mozzarella Salad, Sweet Potato Wedges, Memphis style coleslaw, Corn Cobetts and Veg & Halloumi wraps so that all tastes and requirements would be catered for.

With so many activities that were going on including; face painting, bouncy castle, DJ and a bar we weren’t sure whether the guests would have time to eat but once they had got a whiff of the delicious aromas of the food that we were preparing, they were certainly ready for their food! Needless to say, the diners were excited and delighted at the food we had to offer with very complimentary feedback on the quality of the food and professional service that Hog Roast Ellesmere Port delivered and with some of the cleanest plates we have seen at the end!
